| Blogging From A to Z April Challenge 2011 |
I was net surfing last night. Catching up on a few of my favorite blogs and clicking on the blogs that they highlight on the sidebars like I normally do when I stumbled across this challenge. I had seen a few blogs do this last year and wondered what it was all about but never checked into it before. Since I have been in somewhat of a rut over the last six months or so writing wise, I figured this might be exactly what I need to snap me out of it.
So I am now in the BLOGGING FROM A TO Z APRIL CHALLENGE 2011. I did a little research and found the idea of it all very interesting as well as very simple. In the month of April (Monday through Saturday), one writes a post each day that begins with each letter of the alphabet. It equals out to 26 posts when the end of the month arrives.
It seems to be designed to open one's creativity up as well as help to maintain one's blog on a regular bases. Something that I have been working towards but have come up short for a while. I can already feel those creative juices flowing. I have been mentally brainstorming at work all day today. Trying to figure out what sort of theme I want to present (Fiction vs. One set topic for the month). I can see a world of possibilities opening up with this challenge already. I am actually getting excited and wishing it was already April.
If anyone is interested in trying their hand at this challenge, go to the following blogs in order to sign up. It seems to be a great way to meet more blogging friends as well as opening one's self to new experiences through the eyes of others. A fellowship of different writers with different backgrounds. Something that everyone can use I do believe.

@Hannah- Yeah I saw you on the list. I am thinking you are the reason I went to "Toss It Out" to begin with. I feel like you. I can't wait to get started and have been planning all day. :)
ReplyDelete@Lee- I am glad you liked. I wasn't sure if I caught the spirit of it all but after reading some of your posts from last year to get a feel for it all I am thinking I came close. Thanks for coming up with and continuing such a great challenge. I was unable to convince about the press release but I do have a few other ideas on how to spread the word in my area. :)I will showcase it after I get it all pulled together :)
This is how I came across the challenge also! I'm so eager for April now. "See" you then.
